Highwire, the cloud-based mobile platform that collaborates with strategic partners to mitigate the safety, finance, quality, and sustainability risks to level up safe contractors who deliver great work, has announced the recipients of its prestigious safety awards. Clym Environmental Services was honored to receive the Gold Safety Award. This is presented to companies who register a safety score between 85% and 95% in the Safety Assessment Program administered by Highwire.
CEO Garrett Burke began Highwire while serving as the Associate Director of Occupational Safety at Harvard University. He saw the need to develop a solution to mitigate and assess risk and solutions for large-scale projects by creating a format for compliance and prequalification to seek out the safest contractors and vendors for projects. Says Burke of Clym’s safety award: “Clym Environmental Services, LLC has done a remarkable job of implementing a strong safety management system. In addition to keeping employees safe, safety performance of this caliber should reduce their insurance premiums.”
Highwire’s Safety Assessment Program reviews a company’s historical safety performance and current safety management systems. The platform normalizes data for vendor or contractor size and type of work performed. It provides a thorough, objective, and consistent evaluation of company performance so clients can identify, monitor, and manage risk smarter. The results indicate how a vendor or contractor values safety and is a reliable predictor of future performance.
Clym’s comprehensive menu of environmental, health, and safety services to the life sciences and healthcare industries is driven by the mission of providing safe contractors who design customized solutions to meet customer needs. Our team is grateful to partner with the renowned collective Highwire and thrilled to be recognized for building and maintaining an influential safety culture for our employees and clients.
